New Method of Antiglobulin Test-Immunobead Antiglobulin Test

Abstract
|

|
We developed a new method of antiglobulin test using polyacrylamide immunobead coated with anti-human IgG. The immunobead made agglutination or rosette forma￢tion with the sensitized red cells, which was easier to be read.
The immunobead antiglobulin test was more sensitive by one fold dilution than the classical antiglobulin test. We found three cases having isoantibody detected only by immunobead antiglobulin test, out of 50 cases which were negative with antiglobulin test.
The immunobead method could replace the classical antiglobulin test orcouldbeused for confirmation of negative result of antiglobulin test.
